TO FIX THE START Button:
This is reversible! You did something wrong. When you log in, press “Cntrl+Alt+delete”, then in the task manager, press “new task”, then type “Explorer.exe” So then it will be back, now once your back in, you must reverse it. You have to go back to the file “Winlogon” in the registry, and on the right, click on the file “Shell” and name it back to “Explorer.exe”. You’re simply reversing your steps.
So you are just reversing what is shown in the video.
So see if it works, its very easy to fix, you didn’t actually lose anything, its just hiding from you. If this still doesn’t work, then do a system restore.

Now how in God’s name can someone lose all of their icons by changing the name of a string?
It sounds like to me you’ve told your winlogon the wrong file name. Did you type in ‘.exe’ at the end?

The first isn’t work. I tryed on 2 pc’s both but by 37+ comes 1033. And i changed the ’start’ into Rock It. But if I restart i get no bureaublad, and no icons, all in 1 map. Can you help me i can get it back thats no problem. But i want to change start into rock it.
